Speakers:
- Shevaun Mullender (Head of Clinical QI Capability) and Sarah Khan (QI Facilitator) from Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust shared an overview of how they have developed their capability and capacity to deliver continuous improvement in line with their organisational strategic objectives. They discussed key milestones such as the implementation of digital tools to support work, the role of quality improvement facilitators and embedding human factors as a lens in QI activity and went into depth on outcomes being seen from QI programmes being delivered. - Michael Twigg (Head of Research Development, Evaluation and Quality Improvement) at NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) shared the approach the ICB is taking to build improvement capacity and capability for all system partners. He discussed how the ICB is supporting the system to co-ordinate QI training opportunities and developing a new training offer which will also include VCSE and primary care partners.
